Baby Girl Knows Everything......

My daughter never ceases to amaze me. Do not get me wrong, my sons amazes me too, but in just totally different ways.
Example 1- MY SON LOSES EVERYTHING. MY DAUGHTER KNOWS WHERE EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE IS.
The item of loss this week was his library book. We searched and searched. The next morning, after he lost his library privilege the day before, He was trying to get me to pay for the book so he could go back to the library. I asked Miss Priss if she knew where the book might be. She had seen us looking frantically for it, yet never made a comment.
" Um, yes. His book is in the grey car, in front of my car seat, in the pocket where I keep my movies. I put it in there when we went to Tucker Park the other day so it would not get lost."
And, indeed it was.

Example 2- My DAUGHTER is VERY OBSERVANT.
We pass by the same route daily. A new building in front of Publix is going up, quite rapidly. She asked, "What is the new building going to be?"
I said I wasn't really sure. She commented that she hoped it is a cell phone place- so we do not have to drive so far to the one we go to when BROTHER loses his phone again to get him another one.
We traverse on to our neighborhood, where there is construction on a "office development" that has been ongoing since we moved in 2 years ago.
She sighed a long impatient sigh.
"WHAT is TAKING them SO LONG on those buildings!??" The people building the new cell phone store in front of PUBLIX are gonna be done soon and they just started. They go really fast and THESE people go VERY SLOWLY!".
*(And YES, she put -LY on the end of an adverb, a lost art.)
You local residents know the development.....from the mouths of babes.

Her birthday is coming up. She wants an IPhone, but an IPod touch will do, she says.
Um, yes....she will only be 5.

I think she learned a lot in her early years. Probably from an excellent caregiver.

I read this in my Google Reader, meaning to come over and comment.

OOPS! I'm late.

None of this surprises me a bit. My first impression of her was that she was a take charge kind of gal. Watch out World!! Don't EVEN think you have a choice where this little girl is concerned.

I think my own little Diva Daugther could be president one day. I think your little Princess could too!
