Good Friends, Good Food, Good Times.....
We went over to our best friends' house to eat and hang out this weekend.
Princess and the Doc invited us to sample some of the southern Mississippi boy's Gumbo!
The kids all had a great time and the GUMBO was SOOOO good. He used the recipe from the link below-
worked on it for hours- chicken, sausage,
fresh crab and shrimp, made his own stock and roux....
and it was worth every second.

Doc- do not make those faces when we are taking precious memories in the form of pictures...and I will not have shots like that to post.
I love you both, my friends.
Has he ever thought of opening a cajun/creole place in the Helena area?
I have long been a 'victim' of Southern cooking, but cajun food would run a close second with me.
Sorry, for the intrusion. I enjoy your blog from time to time via 'Sleepless In Helena'. The gumbo did look incredible. Please give my compliments to the chef.
